DinghamsDorks

I want to play.

So here's the deal I'm making in public: paint the armies, get them on the table, then take them to a tournament. This page is where I keep myself honest.

The road to the table

Paint first. Then play. Every system on the list, one goal at a time.

Why this exists

Orktober has been my thing for years. A mate of mine in the Ork community, Pete, started painting an Ork a day under #OrkaDay. It was his idea, not mine. My first year I used it to clear the shelf of half-painted models and get things table-ready, and I finished over a hundred. The next year I joined him properly.

Then I had a couple of years off. This year I'm back, and Orktober is about more than the collection. It's the discipline of finally getting these armies onto a table, and of starting something bigger alongside it.

Painting is the bit I've always done. Playing is the bit I keep promising myself. This page is the promise, in writing.
